Volunteer at Pets in the Park!

Do you want to help to make the 23rd annual Pets in the Park a huge success? The Edmonton Humane Society relies on the support of hundreds of volunteers for this fun-filled day. We provide lunch and snacks for all of our volunteers.

We hope you will join in the excitement by participating in one of our many fun volunteer opportunities at Pets in the Park 2015!

All volunteers need to apply online and must attend a one hour Pets in the Park orientation session. These sessions provide an overview of the entire event and your role in making it a success. At orientation you will receive a map of the event, schedule for the day and an Edmonton Humane Society volunteer shirt (if you do not already have one).

Training sessions* will be held in the Education Centre at the Edmonton Humane Society 13620 163 St NW. Four sessions are offered and volunteers are required to attend one.

Session Dates and Times:

Saturday, June 13 at 10 am
Sunday, June 14 at 10 am
Tuesday, June 16 at 6 pm
Thursday, June 18 at 6 pm

*Please note: Volunteers are still welcome to sign up if they cannot attend an orientation session. Training may be provided at the event for some volunteer positions. Attendance at an orientation session is preferred.

Since helping at Pets in the Park is guaranteed to keep you very  busy, please do not bring your  own pets or guests with you while  you are volunteering.  Be sure to encourage your family and  friends  (two and four legged) to join a team or register as an individual so they can share in the  fun at Pets in the Park too!

Thank you so much for all you do to help the animals of the  Edmonton Humane Society.
