We are thrilled to welcome Little Peter and the Elegants as the entertainment at this year's Starr's on the Credit!

The band began in 1973 when eight Port Credit Secondary School students got together to play 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll music. Two dances and two concerts made up our first year. It was a time of nostalgia with the movie American Graffiti in theatres, the musical Grease on stage and the show Happy Days was on television. Even though band members have changed over the years, what has remained the same is the fact that the band covers music from the 50s, 60s and 70s the way you remember hearing the songs on the radio. Our shows stretch across Ontario to Bowmanville, Collingwood, Kincardine and Niagara Falls. However, many of our performances take place around Port Credit where the band began 45 years ago. Each January we organize Dancing for The Compass, for three years we performed at the Sunset Concert Series, twice at the Mississauga Ribfest, held several dances at the Legions in Port Credit and Cooksville as well as at the Square One Older Adult Centre. We are thrilled to be a part of this year's Starr's on the Credit raising money for the ErinoakKids!
