FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Q. Is the Guide Dog Foundation a tax-exempt, not-for-profit charity?

    A. Yes, the Guide Dog Foundation is 501(c)(3) charity as determined by the IRS.

 

Q. Is my ticket purchase tax deductible?

    A. Yes, VIP tickets have a tax deductible portion of $85, General tickets have a tax deductible portion of $55.

 

Q. Can I bring my dog?

    A. Only service dogs permitted at this event. Heritage Club has been kind enough to allow us to have dogs present only for the purpose of modeling at the fashion show.  Program dogs, i.e. ambassador dogs and puppies in training are not allowed.

 

Q. Can I get a refund on my ticket if I cannot make the event?

    A. No, unfortunately there are no refunds or transfers of tickets for any reason.

 

Q. How will the net funds be distributed?

    A. Following a full accounting of receipts and expenses in October/November, all NET proceeds will benefit the Guide Dog Foundation.

 

Q. When is the last day I can purchase tickets?

    A. You can purchase tickets up until Tuesday, October 8, 2019, 12pm.

 

Q. What is the attire for the evening?

    A. Fashionable cocktail/business attire is suggested.  Blazers or jackets for men is recommended.  Jeans are not permitted.

 

Q. Will there be merchandise for sale?

    A. Yes, Guide Dog Foundation merchandise will be available for purchase.  

 

Q. Parking/Valet?

    A. There will be plenty of parking available in the lots in front of the Heritage Club.  Valet parking will also be available.

 

Q. Will there be an auction?

    A. No silent auction, but a live auction will be conducted.

 

Q. What type of payment is accepted onsite?

    A. Cash, credit card and checks will be accepted at the fundraiser.

 

Q. Will Anthony Rubio's Designs from the fashion show be available for purchase?

    A. All of the designs incorporated in the fashion show will not be for sale.
